All Thoughts Have Power Theme: “The mind is very powerful, and never loses its creative force. It never sleeps. Every instant it is creating. .There are no idle thoughts. All thinking produces form at some level.”
Anger Management Theme: “Whenever you are angry, you can be sure that you have formed a special relationship which the ego has "blessed," for anger is its blessing. .All anger is nothing more than an attempt to make someone feel guilty, and this attempt is the only basis the ego accepts for special relationships.”
The Asclepieon Of Now Theme: “Forgiveness is the great release from time. It is the key to learning that the past is over. . The emphasis of this course always remains the same;--it is at this moment that complete salvation is offered you, and it is at this moment that you can accept it.”
As God Created Me Theme: “You are as God created you, and so is every living thing you look upon, regardless of the images you see. What you behold as sickness and as pain, as weakness and as suffering and loss, is but temptation to perceive yourself defenseless and in hell. Yield not to this, and you will see all pain, in every form, wherever it occurs, but disappear as mists before the sun.”
As If It Were A Person Theme: “The body is the central figure in the dreaming of the world. There is no dream without it, nor does it exist without the dream in which it acts as if it were a person to be seen and be believed.”
Beautiful Dreamer Theme: “The happy dreams the Holy Spirit brings are different from the dreaming of the world, where one can merely dream he is awake. The dreams forgiveness lets the mind perceive do not induce another form of sleep, so that the dreamer dreams another dream. His happy dreams are heralds of the dawn of truth upon the mind. They lead from sleep to gentle waking, so that dreams are gone. And thus they cure for all eternity.”
Body-OPICs Theme: “The [body] you see is what you gave it, nothing more than that. .It is the witness to your state of mind, the Outside Picture of an Inward Condition. .Therefore, seek not to change the [body], but choose to change your mind about the [body]. “
The Bridge Of Return Theme: “Until the Atonement is complete its various phases will proceed in time, but the whole Atonement stands at time's end. At that point the bridge of return has been built. .You will cross the bridge into reality simply because you will recognize that God is on the other side, and nothing at all is here.”
Buddha’s Easter Theme: “With a quiet mind Come into that empty house, your heart, And feel the joy of the way Beyond the world.”
Calling To Pieces Theme: “The Holy Spirit's function is to take the broken picture of the Son of God and put the pieces into place again. This holy picture, healed entirely, does He hold out to every separate piece that thinks it is a picture in itself. To each He offers his Identity, which the whole picture represents, instead of just a little, broken bit that he insisted was himself.”
Casting Call Theme: "How happy would your dreams become if you were not the one who gave the "proper" role to every figure which the dream contains. No one can fail but your idea of him, and there is no betrayal but of this."
Cloak Of Secrets; Mantle Of Light Theme: “The quiet light in which the Holy Spirit dwells within you is merely perfect openness, in which nothing is hidden and therefore nothing is fearful. Attack will always yield to love if it is brought to love, not hidden from it. There is no darkness that the light of love will not dispel, unless it is concealed from love's beneficence.”
Decisions, Decisions Theme: “As the teacher of God advances in his training, he learns one lesson with increasing thoroughness. He does not make his own decisions; he asks his Teacher for His answer, and it is this he follows as his guide for action. This becomes easier and easier, as the teacher of God learns to give up his own judgment.”
Developing Your X-Ray Vision Theme: “The body's eyes. .were made to look on error and not see past it. .They can see only illusions, unable to look beyond the granite block of sin, and stopping at the outside form of nothing. .Vision is the means by which the Holy Spirit translates your nightmares into happy dreams.”
Egg-Laying Tips For The Right-Minded Theme: “It is your thoughts alone that cause you pain. Nothing external to your mind can hurt or injure you in any way. There is no cause beyond yourself that can reach down and bring oppression. No one but yourself affects you. There is nothing in the world that has the power to make you ill or sad, or weak or frail. But it is you who have the power to dominate all things you see by merely recognizing what you are.”
Field of Willingness Theme: “You have imprisoned your will beyond your own awareness, where it remains, but cannot help you. .My role is only to unchain your will and set it free. Your ego cannot accept this freedom, and will oppose it at every possible moment and in every possible way.” Guidance Counselor Theme: “The Holy Spirit abides in the part of your mind that is part of the Christ Mind. He represents your Self and your Creator, Who are One. . He seems to be a Voice, for in that form He speaks God's Word to you. He seems to be a Guide through a far country, for you need that form of help. He seems to be whatever meets the needs you think you have.”
The Hand Of Christ Theme: "Try to pass the clouds by whatever means appeals to you. If it helps you, think of me holding your hand and leading you. And I assure you this will be no idle fantasy. .You have reached your hand to me, and I will never leave you.”
Hearing The Dirge Theme: “‘God may not enter here’ the sick repeat, over and over, while they mourn their loss and yet rejoice in it. Healing occurs as a patient begins to hear the dirge he sings, and questions its validity. Until he hears it, he cannot understand that it is he who sings it to himself. To hear it is the first step in recovery. To question it must then become his choice.”
The Holy Instant Theme: “The holy instant is this instant and every instant. The one you want it to be it is. The one you would not have it be is lost to you. You must decide when it is. Delay it not. For beyond the past and future, where you will not find it, it stands in shimmering readiness for your acceptance.”
I Can’t Get No Satisfaction Theme: “You do not ask too much of life, but far too little. When you let your mind be drawn to bodily concerns, to things you buy, to eminence as valued by the world, you ask for sorrow, not for happiness. .There are no satisfactions in the world.”
‘I Have No Hurt Of You’ Theme: “What is love in a world in which there is no love? You say to your brother: ‘I have no hurt of you.’” Bob Draper
The Journey Home The Theme: “Ours is simply the journey back to God Who is our home. . The journey to God is merely the reawakening of the knowledge of where you are always, and what you are forever. It is a journey without distance to a goal that has never changed. . You will never lose your way, for God leads you.”
Letting Love In Theme: “The ego is certain that love is dangerous, and this is always its central teaching. . Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all of the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”
Lifting The Spell Of Unworthiness Theme: “You made neither yourself nor your function. You made only the decision to be unworthy of both. Yet you cannot make yourself unworthy because you are the treasure of God, and what He values is valuable.“
The Loom Of Healing Theme: “Healing is a thought by which two minds perceive their oneness and become glad. This gladness calls to every part of the Sonship to rejoice with them, and lets God go out into them and through them.”
Love Cannot Judge Theme: “A dream of judgment came into the mind that God created perfect as Himself. And in that dream was Heaven changed to hell, and God made enemy unto His Son. How can God's Son awaken from the dream? It is a dream of judgment.. So must he judge not, and he will waken.”
Metaphors Be With You Theme: Some of the many metaphors that the Course uses to help us understand its teachings.
Mind Can Only Serve Theme: “I have a kingdom I must rule. At times, it does not seem I am its king at all. It seems to triumph over me, and tell me what to think, and what to do and feel. And yet it has been given me to serve whatever purpose I perceive in it. My mind can only serve. Today I give its service to the Holy Spirit to employ as He sees fit. I thus direct my mind, which I alone can rule. And thus I set it free to do the Will of God.”
The Miracle Of Undoing Theme: “A miracle is a correction. It does not create, nor really change at all. It merely looks on devastation, and reminds the mind that what it sees is false. It undoes error.”
Miss Perception, Permit Me To Introduce Miss Taken Theme: “Perception is a choice and not a fact. .On the voice you choose to hear, and on the sights you choose to see, depends entirely your whole belief in what you are. Perception is a witness but to this, and never to reality.”
Muscle Testing For The Mind Theme: “The Holy Spirit always sides with you and with your strength. As long as you avoid His guidance in any way, you want to be weak.”
Nursery Rhymes Theme: “Little child, the light is there. You do but dream, and idols are the toys you dream you play with. Who has need of toys but children? They pretend they rule the world, and give their toys the power to move about, and talk and think and feel and speak for them. Yet everything their toys appear to do is in the minds of those who play with them.”
One Or The Other Theme: “There are only two parts of your mind. One is ruled by the ego, and is made up of illusions. The other is the home of the Holy Spirit, where truth abides. There are no other guides but these to choose between.”
The Path Of Awareness Theme: “God's teachers choose to look on dreams a while. It is a conscious choice. . Awareness of dreaming is the real function of God's teachers. They watch the dream figures come and go, shift and change, suffer and die. Yet they are not deceived by what they see.“
Perception Is A Mirror Theme: “Perception is a mirror, not a fact. And what I look on is my state of mind, reflected outward. I would bless the world by looking on it through the eyes of Christ.”
The Power Of Questions Theme: “A spiritual question is like an alarm clock thrown into the dream. ‘Who Am I?’ calls into question everything the dreamer believes in, namely him or herself. It disrupts the dream. That’s it’s purpose. When your alarm clock goes off in the morning, its purpose is not to get an answer. Its purpose is to wake you up.” Adyashanti
The Power Of Sameness Theme: “The Holy Spirit. .opposes the idea that differences in form are meaningful, emphasizing always that these differences do not matter. The meaning of His message is always the same; only the meaning matters.”
The Quiet Center Theme: “To do nothing is to rest, and make a place within you where the activity of the body ceases to demand attention. Into this place the Holy Spirit comes, and there abides. He will remain when you forget, and the body's activities return to occupy your conscious mind. Yet there will always be this place of rest to which you can return.”
Resistance To Healing Theme: “Sickness is a decision. It is not a thing that happens to you, quite unsought, which makes you weak and brings you suffering. It is a choice you make, a plan you lay, when for an instant truth arises in your own deluded mind, and all your world appears to totter and prepare to fall. Now are you sick, that truth may go away and threaten your establishments no more.”
Scarcity Theme: “A sense of separation from God is the only lack you really need correct. This sense of separation would never have arisen if you had not distorted your perception of truth, and had thus perceived yourself as lacking.”
Selective Hearing Theme: “In this world the only remaining freedom is the freedom of choice; always between two choices or two voices. .Consciousness is the receptive mechanism, receiving messages from above or below; from the Holy Spirit or the ego. “
Sickness And Healing Theme: “Sickness is not of the body, but of the mind. .The body cannot heal, because it cannot make itself sick. It needs no healing. Its health or sickness depends entirely on how the mind perceives it, and the purpose that the mind would use it for. “
The Spark Of God Theme: "The power of one mind can shine into another, because all the lamps of God were lit by the same spark. It is everywhere and it is eternal. In many only the spark remains, for the Great Rays are obscured. Yet God has kept the spark alive so that the Rays can never be completely forgotten. If you but see the little spark you will learn of the greater light."
Spring Cleaning For The Mind Theme: “No one can escape from illusions unless he looks at them, for not looking is the way they are protected. There is no need to shrink from illusions, for they cannot be dangerous. We are ready to look more closely at the ego's thought system because together we have the lamp that will dispel it, and since you realize you do not want it, you must be ready.”
Teaching: A Constant Process Theme: “To teach is to demonstrate. There are only two thought systems, and you demonstrate that you believe one or the other is true all the time. From your demonstration others learn, and so do you.”
That’s Not The Reason Why Theme: “Projection makes perception. The world you see is what you gave it, nothing more than that. But though it is no more than that, it is not less. Therefore, to you it is important. It is the witness to your state of mind, the outside picture of an inward condition. .Therefore, seek not to change the world, but choose to change your mind about the world. Perception is a result and not a cause.”
Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness Theme: "Every brother has the power to release you, if you choose to be free. You cannot accept false witness of him unless you have evoked false witnesses against him. If he speaks not of Christ to you, you spoke not of Christ to him. You hear but your own voice, and if Christ speaks through you, you will hear Him."
Tilt-A-World Theme: This world is like an amusement park ride - except not so amusing.
To See Or Not To See Theme: “The choice is not whether to see the past or the present; the choice is merely whether to see or not. What I have chosen to see has cost me vision. Now I would choose again, that I may see.”
True Prayer Theme: “To you who are in time a little while, prayer takes the form that best will suit your need. You have but one. What God created one must recognize its oneness, and rejoice that what illusions seemed to separate is one forever in the Mind of God. Prayer now must be the means by which God's Son leaves separate goals and separate interests by, and turns in holy gladness to the truth of union in his Father and himself.”
Wealth Management For The Mind Theme: "The term generosity has special meaning to the teacher of God. It is not the usual meaning of the word; in fact, it is a meaning that must be learned and learned very carefully. . . .To the world, generosity means "giving away" in the sense of "giving up." To the teachers of God, it means giving away in order to keep."
What Is The Body? Theme: “The body is a fence the Son of God imagines he has built, to separate parts of his Self from other parts. It is within this fence he thinks he lives, to die as it decays and crumbles. For within this fence he thinks that he is safe from love. .The Holy Spirit, as always, takes what you have made and translates it into a learning device.”
You Are The Dreamer Theme: “The miracle establishes you dream a dream, and that its content is not true. This is a crucial step in dealing with illusions. No one is afraid of them when he perceives he made them up. The fear was held in place because he did not see that he was author of the dream, and not a figure in the dream.”
